ABOUT
The B.Com Corporate Secretaryship programme aims to bridge the gap between
theoretical knowledge and practical application. Institutional training course being
the integral part of B.Com Corporate Secretaryship programme is designed to
bridge the gap between theory and practice. Workplace exposure is given to final
year students through institutional training wherein students should complete 30
days of on-the-job training in corporate sector, this training provides practical
insights about exactly how the industry functions and expose students to the
present realities of the workplace. This programme involves study of the concepts
of Corporate governance, Secretarial practices, Company laws, Industrial law and
Income tax Law and practices.
The department currently has around 219 students. The education imparted here
intend to prepare students for meaningful -satisfying work roles
and facilitate economic independence. Students are taught to be ethical, rational,
compassionate, caring and at the same time they are molded for a rewarding and
satisfying employment.
